Risks & Ownership

Risk of loss or damage to the materials and equipment shall pass on to the client upon installation.
Ownership of the materials and equipment shall remain with Dalzotto Electrics until full and final payment due to Dalzotto Electrics has been made in its entirety.
The Client authorizes Dalzotto Electrics to enter The Client’s premises and re- claim the materials and equipment and to dispose of the equipment to recover costs if this agreement is breached.

Access

The quote from Dalzotto Electrics is based on a continuous work program, unless otherwise stated. If the client causes the works to be delayed for any reason, extensions to the time for the works to be completed will need to be granted.

Warranty

Dalzotto Electrics provides a lifetime guarantee that all labor work complies with the Australian Standards applicable at the time of installation and that workmanship will be done to a high standard. In the event that there is a problem with the work completed as outlined in this quotation Dalzotto Electrics will rectify the issue free of charge.
Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the product installed. In the event that a claim is made it must be done directly between the manufacturer and The Client.

Variations

Any variation to this quoted works shall be notified to Dalzotto Electrics.
The agreed value of variations will be added or subtracted from the original quote.
Where no agreement is reached by The Client and Dalzotto Electrics to the value of the variations additions will be charged at cost + 30% to cover administration costs.
Deletions will be charged at cost.
Any variations will not proceed until costing is approved and confirmed in writing.

Labor Rates

Quoted works have been allowed for at a standard labor rate that applies between the hours of 7am – 3.30pm between Monday to Friday. Works conducted outside of these times at The Clients request will be charged in line with NECA penalty rates.

Quotations provided by Dalzotto Electrics are strictly limited to the items specifically noted on the quote.

Security Exclusions

From time to time the cost of alarm monitoring, remote camera viewing and other services provided by third parties may be reviewed. We will communicate any changes to our clients as soon as practical.
This quote has been prepared based upon what can be seen from visual inspection or photographs. While we use our experience and knowledge to be as accurate as possible, unfortunately it is not possible to know what is behind a wall or underground. Dalzotto Electrics takes no responsibility for additional works which may be required during the course of the quoted project. We will however advise the client as soon as practical of any additional work that might me necessary and provide an estimate. In the event that the quoted work is not able to be completed due to unforeseen issues Dalzotto Electrics will charge for a pro-rata amount of the quote.

All Claims are under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2002.

These Terms and Conditions are considered to be agreed, upon verbal or written instruction to proceed with any works.
